Our Story
How We Met
Chantelle and Jovan met in 2024 on a little show called The Honesty Box — something that, at the time, felt like nothing more than a random side quest for them both. Neither went into the experience expecting to find love, and as two people who were perfectly content in their own company, neither imagined meeting someone who could make life together feel even better than life alone.
But the Lord had other plans.
Best Friends First
From the beginning, they became best friends before anything else. They found in one another a rare kind of understanding — two people incredibly similar at heart, able to laugh together, cry together, weather the trenches together and celebrate some of life's greatest highs side by side.
Faith at the Centre
Faith has been at the centre of their journey. Chantelle already knew the Lord, while Jovan went on to find God for himself, and over time it became clearer why God had brought their lives together.
They believe their marriage is about more than simply loving one another. Together, they hope to be a reflection of God's glory — a partnership built on loving, serving, growing and constantly becoming better, both for each other and for the people around them.
What once seemed like a meaningless little side quest turned out to be one of God's greatest plot twists. And now, they simply can't imagine doing life without each other. 🤍
